With in our team we have 2 PADI course directors, 6 PADI IDC staff instructors, 4 PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers, 2 BSAC Advanced Instructors and 3 TDI / PSA technical dive instructors. That's not just qualifications, its experience.

Our Diving Instructors
All our diving instructors are trained in the PADI regulations. They are then examined and have to meet the Active Adventures standards in order to work with us. These qualities include, personality, local experience and good teaching skills.
The Beginning
Active Adventures was founded by two people: Adam Norsworthy, a PADI IDC Staff instructor and PSA technical dive instructor, with over 1,000 dives logged in Lanzarote alone. Adam used to work in organisation and logistics management in the tourism industry, and after fracturing his spine in three places, learnt to walk again, and became a diver.
AND
Cameron Norsworthy played tennis for England during his teens, before suffering an elbow injury which led him to travel five continents and 25 countries, diving all over the world. Together they started Active Adventures in 2003, and have been organising superb dive holidays for divers and non-divers ever since. |
