Thank you so much for the superbly organised and managed first week. We felt very well looked after and had such fun. I m sure it will continue for Chris and the boys this week. It was lovely to meet Will and Barney (and Sam) too and hopefully Cameron will have time for a quick visit with Dean when he s over in September. Please remind the boys that I m expecting them to bring home the karting trophy!

Yes use the same card, as for the holiday! We had a great time and clearly
loved the go carting: Will managed to get the trophy home in one piece
(just).
Obviously will recommend to all our friends and will let the rest of the
group know the facebook page.
Finally, with the dive magazines there was an offer we were given at the
appartment: £1 for 6 copies of the dive magazine. Could i claim it now, is
that possible?

Just back to work and feeling a little glum! Had a great holiday and many thanks to the AA team for making everything run so smoothly. It was all made to appear so easy and effortless but I can appreciate the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to create that atmosphere and well done on that.Oh well, back to the grind. Looking forward to making it out again in the not so distant future to continue with the diving training.

Just wanted to say we had a great time. Really enjoyed pretty much everything about the week. Andrew will be adding some pictures to facebook soon so keep an eye out.
I ve really taken to the idea of surfing and when I can t make it to Lanzatrote or Cornwall I ll be practicing on my ironing board.
As for the go karting, Andrew was smugly impressed with himself but not enough to take the other trophy home with him. So whoever is staying in 223 Celeste apartment has a trophy proudly displayed on the microwave so you can nab that one too. You can say you were No. 1 Active Adventures Rep - August 2007 ;-)

Thanks for a great holiday. I really enjoyed myself. Failed to stand up
whilst surfing, came last at go-karting and drank far too much rose
wine......what more could I ask for?!! Seriously, I'd do it all over
again!
Weather not great here and back to work Monday. Wish I was still in
Lanzarote.

It's great to be home, well so I keep telling myself!! Missing the sun and the sea and definitely need some more surfing practice!

I had a great week , and really, really enjoyed the surfing, my only regret is I didn't get a cool picture of me standing up , so may have to come back to get some more pics!
I thought everything was really well run and the reps were great at getting us all together in the evenings, though I don't think we needed much persuading !
Of course you were our favourite rep! god how many times have you heard that? Yawn! But you did fail on one account, in that you didn't find Alison a man at the beginning of the week , it would have made my week( and maybe a few others!) a lot easier ! So maybe you should start incorporating a dating service within Active Adventures, just a thought!Suggets it to Cameron!
Anyway , I may be back, I might try Kite surfing next time

I had a great time there, I met Adam and Jen (she is venezuelan as well) we had a nice night out (with karaoke included!!!) I would've liked to see a bitmore of the island but my week was totally scheduled with diving, but no regrets at all because i really enjoyed. Although I almost have no experience, the instructors were great, very helpful and patient.
I have some photos I will send them to you as soon as I get them fully downloaded and organised, I couldnt done it before because my camera charger was in my suitcase which hasnt arrived yet....

How are you? I just wanted to say a really big thank you to all of you for giving me the best holiday ever! I had a really great time! Some of you may find it hard to believe but im actually rather shy (well until I know people) and I was worried about going away on a holiday by myself! But i really wanted to learn how to kitesurf before heading home to NZ this year! Active Adventures was GREAT! You can tell that everyone who works for Active Adventure believes in the business & has a passion for the watersports! This makes a big difference when booking the holiday because you can actually feel the passion for the sport down the phone - all the way to rainy old london!
Greg was amazing! Knows so much about the island & I enjoyed his driving tours across the island! Pointing out the roundabout with the man with his dog & camel - not quite sure if i should have believed him or not haha!
Please thank Will for his help with everything & trying to get my water sorted!! He had me down the phone telling him it wasnt working and the others down the other ear saying it was sorted!!! He was very proffesional at all times!

Still finding it hard to settle in after my mad week with you guys, but if i close my eyes i can almost imagine i'm on a surfboard - standing up of course - and catching those waves!
Well, i wanted to say a big thank you to all of you, you are an amazing team, and having taken the impulsive decision to come over for a week on my own i was amazed at the web of support i was quickly given (a few jugs down the beach bar no doubt helped!)
My particular thanks have to go to:
Barney - an absolute sweetie, he talked me into making this leap in the dark, good man, and asked the very appropriate question: "what is stopping you from making the booking today?" - i think he also made a log of my pay day and i was back on the phone before money had even hit my account! He also checked up before i left that all was fine and even just called me today to see i'm safely back home.
Vyk - what a star, wound me round her porcellenas fingers (before i broke one) with her proud girly craziness, and pushed me to get up on that surfboard and believe in myself. Also talked me into my first beach bar visit - and please tell her i promise never to drink pints! if i was scared of ever being lonely over there, she made sure i just stepped into her gang!
Greg - a total hero, and encyclopedia... considering i was the only surfer most of the week, had to listen to his endless french banter morning and afternoon in the van - fortunately, he was really interesting and seem to have endless anecdotes about the place! went out of his way to show me the less tacky side of the island tourist spots and talked me (quite easily i must say!) into confronting my fear of diving by doing a 'discover diving' course and the hydrospa (which i think you should make compulsory for anyone going, it's so amazing!).
So there you go, all i need to do now is find somewhere to surf in London (oh dear... there's a problem there isn't there).

Thanks mate. I received another email requesting some feed back so here it is............
Holiday was perfect. I was completely impressed by the Active Adventures set up from start to finish. From the very moment I was collected at the airport until when I was dropped back off by the taxi I was utterly impressed. The local knowledge from Greg was very much appreciated and ensured that the holiday ran smoothly.
I enjoyed everything thoroughly and may well be back in another month or so for something similar.

We had a fantastic time thank you and Alex has nagged me ever since about getting a van so we can get down to the coast more often. I ve told him if he can brave the waves in Cornwall at Xmas then that will prove him a true surfer and I ll then give the van some thought! J
Definitely looking at coming again next year, probably after Alex has finished his exams. Once I have ideas on dates etc, I ll be straight in touch.In the meantime, give a big thanks to the guys as they were absolute stars and meant I never once had to worry about Alex!
