The DreamCatcher II will take you to reefs and dive sites that are rarely visited and ensures that you will never have the same dive twice on board. Although the dive sites will be dictated by the currents, weather and safety for divers, the team will do their best to make sure every dive is different and will be tailored to you seeing life under the water. One Week Cruises:
One of the best atolls for a one week cruise is the Ari Atoll. We cruise around the atoll, but it all depends on the weather conditions. Even in bad weather conditions you can find calmer waters in this beautiful atoll.
Other atolls we can visit are North & South Malé and Vaavu atolls. The standard route takes you to North Malé Atoll, South Malé Atoll, Ari Atoll. Vaavu Atoll, Meemu Atoll, Baa and Lhaviyani Atolls are touched on longer voyages.

Just a little information for divers:
• Please bring your log book and diving certification card
• The first dive is a check dive - obligatory for all divers
• All diving equipment remains on the escorting diving boat during the safari
• Dives are performed according to Maldivian law and PADI standards - no decompression dives, buddy system, maximum depth is 30m for AOWD or equivalent, for OWD or equivalent certified divers 20m depth maximum (Maldivian diving regulation)
• Last dive 24hrs before flight back home
• Use of diving computer is obligatory and this can be hired onboard
• English is the onboard language
• Dive insurance & travel insurance must be obtained prior to your arrival in the Maldives
• Before every dive you will be thoroughly briefed and shown a map of the dive spot

The Maldives Islands are situated across the equator, South West of India in the Indian Ocean. Famous for its palm fringed islands with sparkling white beaches, turquoise lagoons, clear warm waters and coral reefs teeming with life.

The Maldives have two mild monsoons, the South West monsoon from May to October brings more rain and wind. The North East monsoon, from November to April, is the dry season. Both are great for diving and offer different advantages.

The air temperature varies between 24 and 33 degrees Celsius while the water temperature ranges from 26 to 30 degrees Celsius.

These unique islands are peaks emerging from crystal clear lagoons surrounded by vibrant corals and abundant marine-life. The islands themselves enjoy lush vegetation and idyllic beaches.

The Maldives has a proud history and rich culture evolved from the first settlers deriving from all over the world who travelled the seas in ancient times.
