Great Value -
Every aspect of our holidays have been tested against 3 other options ensuring we have the best service and products. We have gone to great lengths in minimising our own infrastructure and making our systems efficient to ensure bottom level prices for our guests.

Responsible Tourism -
Every aspect of our holidays has been screened personally by the directors to ensure responsible tourism. Our team are made up of English speaking local people who have years of experience and meet the Active Adventures Standards. We respect the local environment and encourage our guests to enjoy the local culture.

Personal -
We often organise extra activities such as dinner outings to local restaurants to try the local food. Although not obligated, most of the staff socialise with our guests. You are given a dedicated 'trip planner' so you don't have to continually repeat yourself and your details. Once a guest, always a member of our community!

Fun & Social -
Our holidays have been designed with FUN in mind. Holidays are about fun and being relaxed whilst having a great time. Our team members have to meet the Active Adventures Standards when brought on board, which include criterias, such as personality, character and ability to have fun.

Trip Planner

When you call Active Adventures, the person you speak to will be a qualified diver, and your ‘trip planner'. They can give you first hand knowledge of dive sites, hotels, and will help design your dive holiday with us. They are also responsible for organising your holiday. This allows us to provide an awesome personal service, and helps you to feel more comfortable every time we speak together. Click here to speak to a trip planner.

The Beginning

Active Adventures was founded by two people: Adam Norsworthy, a PADI IDC Staff instructor and PSA technical dive instructor, with over 1,000 dives logged in Lanzarote alone. Adam used to work in organisation and logistics management in the tourism industry, and after fracturing his spine in three places, learnt to walk again, and became a diver.

AND

Cameron Norsworthy played tennis for England during his teens, before suffering an elbow injury which led him to travel five continents and 25 countries, diving all over the world. Together they started Active Adventures in 2003, and have been organising superb dive holidays for divers and non-divers ever since.
